Access to Frequent Transit

Research indicates that passengers are willing to walk 400 meters to access basic transit services and up to 800 meters to access rapid transit services. TransLink's Frequent Transit Network provides all day service at frequencies of every 15 minutes or better. This indicator tracks the percentage of Surrey's population that lives within 400 meters of a Frequent Transit Network bus stop or within 800 meters of a SkyTrain station. This is a measure of how convenient and useful transit is to the residents of Surrey.
