Social Housing

Non-market social housing refers to non-profit and co-operative housing models where rents are subsidized for individuals and families with low incomes. Households are generally expected to spend 30% of their income on shelter, a widely accepted benchmark of housing affordability. Social housing offers physical and financial stability that allow individuals and families to make difficult life transitions and make ends meet.
