Drainage 200 Year Flood Plain

The area that can be expected to flood, on average, once every 200 years. This is called the 200-year flood and can occur at any time in any given year. The indicated flood limit may be exceeded and portions of the floodplain can flood more frequently. The delineation of the flood plain is estimated by the BC Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management and the Drainage Section of the City of Surrey. Updates are made whenever possible & modeled.
